With Sandeep Reddy Vanga's and Ranbir Kapoor's recent film Animal, Rashmika Mandanna has excelled. It was her third critically acclaimed film after Pushpa: The Rise and Sita Ramam. The film became a box office blockbuster, even if reviews were divided. The actor explained to Lifestyle Asia in an interview why she isn't naive about her accomplishments.

Reflections on success and gratitude

Rashmika told the magazine that she never takes happiness or success for granted because she knows that there are others who are more beautiful or brilliant than her. She also wants to make the most of her opportunities. This opportunity to be where she is now has been bestowed upon her, and for that she is eternally grateful. The actor is well aware that there are many girls in this world who are more attractive and possess far greater abilities and talents than she does. As she has come to realise in recent years, one should not take life's pleasures or professional accomplishments for granted.

In the same interview, Rashmika described the scrutiny she has received for every action she has taken since becoming famous as "normal." On the other hand, she did mention that dealing with the constant barrage of criticism and opinions in this field requires thick skin. She said that if one speaks, the world listens, passes judgements and criticisms, and has many opinions, which is perfectly normal, but if one is not thick-skinned, it can affect you mentally and emotionally in ways that people are not very aware of.

Upcoming projects and roles

Rashmika is hard at work on a plethora of projects, both in Telugu and Hindi. In Sukumar's Pushpa 2: The Rule, co-starring Allu Arjun, she plays Srivalli again; August 15 is the release date of the film. She also has roles in Rahul Ravindran's The Girlfriend and Rainbow, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film. Along with Vicky Kaushal, Akshaye Khanna, and Pradeep Rawat, she is now filming Chaava in Hindi.
