Rashtra Kavach OM release date: Where to watch Aditya Roy Kapur-Sanjana Sanghi's action thriller on OTT after its theatrical run

What is Rashtra Kavach OM about?

The action-thriller follows the tale of an Indian officer Om, who passionately serves his country, and is also on a mission to prove the innocence of his deceased father. Along with the enemies of the country, the protagonist gets to fight his own demons as well.

Aditya Roy Kapur plays the titular character in the film, who is a high-rank Indian officer, Om Rathod. Sanjana Sanghi is also portraying the role of an Indian agent, Kavya Sharma.

Jackie Shroff essays Aditya's father in the movie, Dev Rathod, while Prachee Shah Paandya plays his mother.

Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Vicky Arora and Bijou Thaangjam also play key roles in the film along with Elnaaz Norouzi, who is in the special appearance in a song named Kala Sha Kala.

Reportedly, the makers were facing certain copyrights due to the prior title, however, they also felt that Rashtra Kavach Om would connect better with the Indian audience.

The Kapil Verma directorial is backed by Shaira Khan and Ahmed Khan under A Paper Doll Entertainment Production and Zee Studios. The screenplay is written by Raj Saluja and Niket Pandey, while the Cinematography has been done by Vineet Malhotra.

Elnaaz featured Kala Sha Kala is crooned by Raahi and Dev Negi, while the romantic tracks such as Saansein Dene Aana and Seher are rendered by Raj Barman-Palak Muchhal and Arijit Singh respectively. Juhi Nair has sung Saansein Bhari Hai.

Rashtra Kavach OM releases on July 1 in theatres. The high-octane action-packed film will be out on ZEE5 soon. 

The makers are yet to announce the OTT release date of the movie.
