Raveena Tandon and Govinda gave several hits back in the 1990s, including Aunty No. 1, Rajaji, Dulhe Raja, Sandwich, and Pardesi Babu.

Raveena is once again a busy actor, with a slew of projects lined up. During an interview with ETimes, the Aranyak actor spoke about working with Govinda and revealed that he was always late on sets.

"I am known to be a producer’s and director’s actor. I feel that a director is the boss, and if a producer has taken my dates, then it is my job to be on set on time. I would reach the sets of a film at 9 am, knowing very well that he (Govinda) would come only at 2.30 pm-3 pm. So, I would get ready, do my makeup, get into my costume, and then I used to go to sleep or read a book," Raveena said.

She added, "Back in those days, we used to do three-four shifts at once. So, I would get my beauty sleep, and they’d wake me up half an hour before Govinda reached the set. I would wake up, get my makeup touched up, and be completely fresh. I enjoyed that."

But the actor was quick to add that even though Govinda was always late, it never delayed the schedule of the shoot. She revealed that Govinda was so talented and swift at his job that he would complete a scene in an hour, which would take others an entire day to film. She also revealed that all the producers knew his style of working and adapted to it, knowing that his films would do well at the box office.

Raveena made headlines last month when she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Indian government. She was last seen in Kannada blockbuster film K.G.F. 2 last year, and will next be seen in Patna Shukla and Ghudchadi.
