Raveena Tandon’s social drama film Patna Shuklla is all set to premiere on Disney+Hotstar. Ahead of the release, the streaming platform made an official announcement about the trailer release on Sunday. An intriguing teaser clip was also dropped that gives a glimpse of Tanvi’s (Raveena) struggles in the manipulative society.
Disney+Hotstar will be dropping the highly anticipated trailer of Patna Shuklla on March 11, i.e., Monday. Today, the makers shared a brief teaser clip to introduce us to the troubled protagonist, advocate Tanvi.
The movie revolves around an education scam and gender stereotypes. It also features late actor Satish Kaushik in a negative role as he plays a misogynist lawyer.
In the short teaser clip, Raveena Tandon is seen as a lawyer who is battling societal norms and gender bias. “Galat soch ka pinjra ab nyay se khulega! Tanvi aa rahi hai (The cage of wrong thinking will now be opened by justice; Tanvi is coming) Patna Shuklla Trailer Out Tomorrow,” Disney’s shared on Instagram.
Raveena Tandon, who stars in the lead role, narrates her story with a poetic twist. Her optimistic introduction begins with, “Duniya ke Andheron mein suraj mein apna hoon, main Patna hoon (In the darkness of the world, I’m my own sun. I’m Patna). The teaser video shows the challenges of Tanvi as she struggles to find her respect both in family and in the courtroom. It highlights the male-dominated society and patriarchy, where a working woman is belittled on the pretext of her gender rather than her skills.
