Ravi Babu's Crrush will release on ZEE5 on THIS day

Actor, director Ravi Babu, who finds surprisingly unique ways to promote his films one after the other, will release his upcoming adult comedy Crrush directly on ZEE5. Starring newcomers Abhay Sinha, Krishna Burugula, Charan Sai, Ankitha Manoj, Parry Pandey and Sri Sudha Reddy in pivotal roles, the film hogged the limelight recently for its raw promos and explicit content. Crrush is expected to release on ZEE5 as early as July 9.

Ravi Babu is expected to officially announce the digital release shortly. Produced under the filmmaker's home banner Frogs Productions, the story revolves around the lives and desires of six youngsters through their college days. Crrush reportedly got into trouble with the CBFC for a few scenes, which the filmmaker refused to remove from the film, said The Hans India in a report. 

The recent films of Ravi Babu are Avunu 2 (available on YouTube), Adhugo (Netflix) and Aaviri (Netflix), which didn't fare well commercially. As an actor, he will be next seen in Satydeva Kancharana's Thimmarusu. Meanwhile, some of ZEE5's releases in the recent past in Telugu include Lol Salaam, Room No.54, Shootout at Alair, Meka Suri (1 & 2), Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku, Rang De to name a few. The streaming platform is lining up two Telugu anthologies in the next few months, one by a newcomer and another by an established director.
