Ravi Kishan joins Naagzilla?

A report on News18 states that Ravi Kishan is now a part of Kartik Aaryan-Karan Johar's Naagzilla. Not just that, he is the second male lead in the film. A source informs, "In Naagzilla, Kartik will be sharing screen space with Ravi Kishan. This will mark their first-ever onscreen collaboration. Be assured that a lot of hilarious banter will ensue between the characters played by Kartik and Ravi." The source also confirms that the makers are actively seeking a third male lead who fits the category.

Why Ravi Kishan?

According to the source, the makers wanted an actor who excels in comedy and is an instinctive actor. The same has happened after Ghajini actor Aamir Khan could not stop praising the actor for his comic timing in Kiran Rao's film, Laapataa Ladies. Similar is the case with Kartik, whose claim-to-fame was with movies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

About Kartik Aaryan-Karan Johar's long-pending collaboration and Naagzilla

Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar were supposed to collaborate on Dostana 2 but that did not happen owing to circumstances. There were reports of a cold war between Karan and Kartik since, but the duo dismissed all reports and finally, they have collaborated on Naagzilla. The movie would go on floors after Kartik wraps up the shooting of Anurag Basu's next in Sikkim. Interestingly, Welcome actor Akshay Kumar was the first choice for Naagzilla but things did not pan out with him and thus, the project landed in Kartik's lap. As for Dostana 2, the movie commenced shooting with other actors but is now on the backburner.
