One of the sources close to the star has revealed to us that Ravi Teja has taken this advice from fans quite seriously and has decided to stay away from mass dramas for now. The source goes on to add that Ravi Teja has asked his team not to entertain any more action dramas for the time being. 

But we at OTTplay have come to know that Ravi Teja has signed two brand-new films. One of them is with Shiva Nirvana, who is known for his family dramas like Kushi and Majili. This film will be a modern take on relationships and will be made in a very contemporary style.

The second film in discussion is with director Kalyan Shankar, who last made the super hit films Mad and Mad 1. This film will be an out-and-out comedy with no mass elements or crazy action. Ravi Teja has decided to shed his mass image and do films that truly entertain the audience.

As of now, he is shooting for a comedy caper directed by Kishore Tirumala. The film is almost done with its shoot and will showcase him as a mature husband who gets into a lot of trouble with his wife.
