Ravi Teja, who last entertained audiences in a badass avatar in Khiladi this year, was set to return in his cop avatar in the actioner Ramarao on Duty on June 17. However, the makers of the film announced today that they wouldn’t be able to release it as per schedule owing to post-production delays. The new release date would be announced shortly.
In a note shared by the production house about the delay, they said that the post-production formalities of Ramarao On Duty need to be carried out with extra care to ensure the ‘best’ and ‘massiest’ output on the screens. First-time director Sarath Mandava has also written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for Ramarao on Duty.
Divyasha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan, play the female leads in the entertainer that will feature Chirunavvutho, Swayamvaram actor Venu Thottempudi in a key role. The banner behind Virata Parvam, Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu, SLV Cinemas, is backing the project in collaboration with RT Team Works.
Sam CS is the music director for the film cinematographed by Sathyan Sooryan ISC. Praveen KL is the editor and Sahi Suresh is the art director. Nasser, Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, ‘Sarpatta’ John Vijay, Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao and Surekha Vani play supporting roles.
