R. Chandru's film Kabzaa might have released in theatres almost four weeks ago but netizens are yet to grow tired of discussing or trolling it on social media. It could be the tall claims that the makers made both before and after the release or the fact that the film failed to live up to the hype by a huge margin, but those who have watched the film have almost unanimously declared it a disappointment.
And when R. Chandru shared an affable post very recently on social media reminding that Kabzaa has completed 25 days of its release in theatres, netizens felt compelled once again to poke fun and also pull up the filmmaker for continuing to exaggerate things.

Sharing one of Kabzaa's posters which features the three bigwigs, namely Upendra, Kiccha Sudeep and Shiva Rajkumar, R. Chandru emphatically announced that his film has completed 25 days of its theatrical run. "25 days in Mars," said a user, implying that the film is yet to make an impact on planet Earth. "Maybe not in Karnataka...but Kabzaa is running in Hollywood," said another. "Waiting for next big thing in Indian cinema," came another sarcastic comment to R. Chandru's post, to enunciate that none of the claims made by team Kabzaa is receiving the desired response.
In fact, miffed netizens brought the men's Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers of Bengaluru, or RCB, to the fore and used Kabzaa to describe the cricket team's performance so far. "If RCB batting is like K.G.F, then RCB bowling is like Kabzaa," said a Twitter user to highlight the colossal bowling performance of the Bengaluru boys. Another user referred to RCB's own 'K.G.F' trio (Kohli-Glenn (Maxwell)-Faf Du Plessis) to quip that the team's recent performance is KGF, no doubt, but the one directed by R. Chandru and not Prashanth Neel!
The Royal Challengers of Bengaluru have been receiving extreme flak for their recent outrageous bowling performance against KL Rahul's Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). RCB, despite scoring a whopping 212, could not stop LSG from chasing down the target in a final-ball thriller.
Indeed, Twitterati is at the top of its meme game and Kabzaa, once again, has fallen prey to it. The gangster flick is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 14th.
