June 3 was a memorable day as Virat Kohli's RCB team finally lifted the IPL 2025 trophy after waiting for 18 years. It was an emotional as well as super proud moment for Kohli and all the RCB fans. The victory was celebrated by the whole nation, making it a magical and unforgettable experience. Not only fans but also every celebrity expressed the sheer joy of happiness on their Instagram Stories, praising King Kohli, his dedication to RCB, the whole team, and the fans.
The wait is finally over as RCB won the IPL 2025 trophy after 18 years. Virat Kohli, who has been playing for the team since day 1, broke down in happy tears on the ground the moment RCB won the final match against Punjab Kings.
Soon after RCB's win, Vicky Kaushal wrote on Instagram Story, “To the man who's given everything to the sport... this was long due! Virat Kohli,” he wrote.
Ranveer Singh called Virat Kohli a “one club player." Additionally, he attached a crown emoji in an apparent nod to the cricketer's nickname 'King Kohli'.
Vijay Mallya, the former owner of the RCB team, wrote on X, "When I founded RCB it was my dream that the IPL trophy should come to Bengaluru. I had the privilege of picking the legendary King Kohli as a youngster and it is remarkable that he has stayed with RCB for 18 years. I also had the honour of picking Chris Gayle the Universe Boss and Mr 360 AB DeVillers who remain an indelible part of RCB history."

Siddharth Mallya, son of former RCB owner Vijay Mallya, also broke down in tears after Royal Challengers Bengaluru's much-awaited IPL victory. He shared a clip on his Instagram account where he can be heard saying, "Eighteen long, long years... I don't even know what to say."
Apart from them, Allu Arjun shared a screenshot of the winning moment and wrote, “THE WAIT IS OVER. ‘Ee sala cup namde! [This year, the cup is ours!]' At last! We've been waiting for this day for 18 years. A big, big congratulations to RCB!”
