Love is in the air! The recent public appearances by actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha have surely added fuel to their relationship rumours. Though the duo has not officially confirmed their relationship status, sources close to the couple have confirmed that the celebrity couple is all set to get engaged this Saturday in Delhi. “The engagement ceremony will take place in the presence of close family and friends,” news agency PTI believes.
And now, in a fresh development, it is being speculated that Chopra will wear ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s attire for her engagement ceremony, while Chadha has chosen to wear the work of designer Pawan Sachdeva.
Sources close to HT City say, “Chadha has chosen a minimalist achkan designed by his maternal uncle, fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva, while Chopra will wear a subtle Indian outfit designed by couturier Manish Malhotra.”
“Raghav prefers to keep it minimal and classy. He wanted something very simple (for his outfit),” reports HT City.
In the month of April, rumours were rife that the celebrity couple is all set to get married in the month of October. A source close to the news portal India Today confirms, “Parineeti and Raghav's roka is done. It was a family affair and they both are very happy. Their wedding might take place by the end of October this year. Parineeti and Raghav are in no rush and they both have work commitments that they need to take care of before getting into the wedding festivities.”
Interestingly, Parineeti’s cousin sister and Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be in India around the same time for the Jio MAMI Film Festival. Jonas is the chairperson of this film festival. Will Jonas attend Parineeti’s wedding festivities? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, on the work front, will next be seen in Chamkila. She will be seen alongside actor Diljit Dosanjh in the film directed by Imtiaz Ali. Raghav, too, is busy with his work in the political sphere.
