Reality show host, producer Ohmkar opens up about his OTT debut Dance Ikon; here's the first look

Actor, show host, director and producer - Ohmkar has donned many hats in his eventful career across the small-screen and feature films. Now, he looks set for another interesting chapter in his career - his OTT debut. Yes, the popular small-screen celebrity will be foraying into the Telugu digital space with Dance Ikon on the regional OTT platform aha. The show is gearing up for its digital premiere shortly, the streaming platform announced earlier this week.

After tasting success with the music-based reality show Telugu Indian Idol, aha is collaborating with Ohmkar for Dance Ikon. The show promises to be a huge platform for talented dancers across the length and breadth of the country and offers them a wonderful chance to make their mark among viewers all over the globe. Ohmkar will be hosting the show and the first look of the same was unveiled on Monday. 

Ohmkar shared that he's more than pleased to join forces with a leading Telugu OTT platform like aha. "I was thrilled about my OTT debut when I got this offer and this is nothing short of a delight. Though I've been a part of many popular dance shows over the years, Dance Ikon will be unique and staying true to the title, I can promise viewers that it will be an iconic show. We hope that choreographers and participants showcase their dancing prowess on this prestigious platform," he said. 

And that's not all. The choreographer of the winning group on Dance Ikon would get an opportunity to compose a song sequence in a Telugu film featuring a huge star. An official announcement about the project would be made at the finale. Ohmkar also helmed films like Genius, the three-part horror-comedy franchise Raju Gari Gadhi in the past. Some of his famous small-screen shows are Aata, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Juniors, Challenge, Sixth Sense, Maya Dweepam and others.
