RED HOT BUZZ: Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif to share screen space?

The success of any film does inspire the makers to make films in that genre. Testimony to this is in the form of Yash Raj Films’ creation of the YRF’s Spy Universe. Right from the time the makers of ‘YRF’s Spy Universe’ have created it, it has definitely created a niche of sorts in the entertainment space. The super success of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ has only validated the creators that they are on the right track with their ‘Spy Universe’. By now, it’s a known fact that, after the film ‘Pathaan’, the guys at Yash Raj Films (YRF) now have the superhot property of ‘Tiger 3’ in their kitty.

If a news report in the recent tweet by ‘Lets Cinema’ is to be believed, then, all the fans of Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone will have loads and loads to rejoice about. As per the tweet, it stated that, “YRF is developing a high-budget female centric spy film which stars Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles”. In case the news report actually takes shape (which many have already started praying that it should), then, it definitely be a casting coup of sorts. As far as the two leading ladies are concerned, it's only a matter of time before they come together on one screen.

As for the two ladies, getting into ‘action’ is something that both are already dived into. As for Deepika Padukone, she will be soon seen in ‘Fighter’, with Hrithik Roshan. This film is touted to be India’s first film based on aerial action. As far as Katrina Kaif is concerned, even though she has executed action scenes with utmost conviction in a bunch of her earlier films, buzz is that she has done some really breath-taking action in the much awaited ‘Tiger 3’.

Speaking of ‘Tiger 3’, besides Katrina Kaif, the film stars Salman Khan in the titular role. Besides Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the film ‘Tiger 3’ also stars Emraan Hashmi. Above all, there is Shah Rukh Khan (in a cameo).
