A few days after director Preetham Gubbi announced Srinivasa Kalyana actress Rukmini Vasanth’s inclusion on the cast of his next with Golden Star Ganesh, turns out, they have one more heroine on board. Reeshma Nanaiah, who debuted earlier this year in Prem’s Ek Love Ya, is also a part of the film, Baana Daariyalli.

According to reports, the young actress, who will play a wildlife photographer called Kadambari in the film, has been quoted as saying that getting to work with Ganesh is a big deal for her. The film, we hear, is likely to go on floors in May with the Karnataka portions, as Ganesh will also be busy with promotions of Gaalipata 2 around that time. The Yogaraj Bhat movie is expected to release by the end of May or early June. Reeshma will join the team in June or July, once the shoot shifts to Africa.

It was earlier reported that Rukmini will play a sports person in the film, with her character dabbling with water sports. The adventure romantic drama has Abhilash Kalathi on board as cinematographer, while V Harikrishna, who is currently in the midst of making his second directorial, Kranti, with Darshan, has been roped in as composer.

The film, state reports, is based on a story by cinematographer Preetha Jayaraman, for which Preetham wrote the screenplay. Preetham has been quoted as saying the Baana Dariyalli will have just about everything that audiences expect of a Ganesh film, like, for instance, romance, drama, emotions and good music, for starters.

Baana Dariyalli will be shot in locations across Bengaluru, Chennai, Varanasi and Africa, with the makers aiming for an end of year release. Ganesh, who was last seen onscreen in Suni’s Sakath, is gearing up for the release of Gaalipata 2 and Trible Riding. Reeshma has finished her portions on Shreyas Manju’s Raana, while Rukmini is squeezing Baana Dariyalli into the schedule break that she has from her Hemanth M Rao directorial Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, in which she is paired with Rakshit Shetty.
