The makers of Tovino Thomas starrer Nadikar Thilakam have announced the wrap of the film’s shooting on social media. The movie, which is directed by Lal Jr, is among the highly anticipated projects of the actor this year.
Soubin Shahir, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Shine Tom Chacko, Veena Nandakumar, Anoop Menon, Balu Varghese, Lal, and Madhupal are among the ensemble cast for Nadikar Thilakam. The film was shot in 30 locations, including Kochi, Dubai, Hyderabad, and Munnar.
The makers of Nadikar Thilakam thanked all of the artists and technicians who contributed to the project in a social media post. “In our journey, we encountered unexpected challenges, from artist injuries to navigating unpredictable weather and challenging terrains. However, your unwavering dedication and resilience turned each hurdle into a testament of our determination and perseverance,” they wrote.
In a few social media posts revealing the actors' looks for Nadikar Thilakam, the makers disclosed that Tovino Thomas will play superstar David Padikkal and Soubin Shahir will play Bala in the film. Netizens expressed excitement over the quirky looks the actors donned, comparing Tovino's appearance to that of Henry Cavill in The Witcher in their comments.
According to sources, the movie revolves around the life of Padikkal, which has been hampered by a number of circumstances, along with his attempts to overcome these difficulties.
The screenplay for the film is penned by Suvin S Somasekharan. While Alby Antony has handled the camera work, Ratheesh Raj is the editor. Yakzan Gary Pereira has composed the soundtrack for this movie. Nadikar Thilakam is produced by Y Naveen and Y Ravi Shankar’s Mythri Movie Makers and Allan Antony and Anoop Venugopal’s GodSpeed.
Tovino’s upcoming projects
With a few films, including Identity and Ajayante Randam Moshanam, coming out this year, the actor will have a busy 2024. His next film, Anweshippin Kandethum, is releasing on February 9. Tovino was recently seen in Dr Biju’s Adrishya Jalakangal, which is streaming on Netflix.
