Remembering Sidharth Shukla: When actor recalled 'at 39 being away from mom was toughest part of the Bigg Boss 13'

Sidharth Shukla passed away on Thursday (September 2) and is survived by his mother and two sisters. The Bigg Boss 13 winner was extremely close to his mother and left no stone unturned in showering his love on her publicly. Sadly, his last public appearance was also at the Mumbai airport when he came to receive his mother back home in Mumbai. Now, in the remembrance of Sidharth, Humans of Bombay shared a post on the late actor in which he had narrated his warm relationship with his mother.

The actor had revealed that despite having a rough exterior, he would always melt for his mother. Sidharth had recalled, "Right from the time I was born, she’s been the most important person in my life. I was the youngest of three kids and too small to play with my sisters, so I was always around mom. Back when I was a toddler, I’d cry if I had to go a second without her."

Calling her his best friend, Sidharth had also spoken about losing his father around 15 years back, thus his mother and he were each other's pillars of support. 

Shukla who had appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss 13 revealed that it was the first time he went without talking to his mother for months. The actor had said, "Recently, I was on Bigg Boss and for the first time, I didn’t speak to her for months. I know it doesn’t sound too cool to say it at 39 but being away from her was the toughest part of the show."

Sidharth remembered the time when he received a letter from her on the reality show and he read it in her voice. He also said that it felt like she was sitting beside her. 

Sidharth passed away due to a massive cardiac arrest in Mumbai. Several celebs and millions of fans expressed their shock and paid condolences to the actor and his family.
