Retta Thala, the recently released Arun Vijay-starrer, is currently streaming on Prime Video. The action thriller features the actor in dual roles and is directed by Kris Thirukumaran. With the film now available digitally to watch, here’s how much the film made in theatres.

Retta Thala is a 2025 Tamil language film which features Arun Vijay, Siddhi Idnani and others. It hit theatres on December 25 for Christmas, and now after a month of theatrical run, is available on OTT now.

During its big screen run, Retta Thala did not manage to impress the audience much. As per Sacnilk, the film made only Rs 3.7 crore at the box office worldwide. This is far less compared to Arun Vijay’s previous film Vanangaan which itself had made Rs 10 crore despite its negative reviews. Retta Thala is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 4 crore, and has not been able to recover its expense.

The rest of the story is about how Kaali has to run from Upendra’s enemies to protect himself.
