Dragon, the 2025 Tamil film starring actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, has become one of the commercial blockbusters in Tamil cinema this year. After releasing in Tamil and Telugu, the film is gearing up for its Hindi release. Titled Return of The Dragon, it will hit theatres on March 14.
Pradeep Ranganathan’s film to release in Hindi as Return of The Dragon
After delivering a successful film like Love Today, Pradeep Ranganathan paired up with his longtime friend and filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu for Dragon, a Tamil film which released in theatres on February 21. After becoming a commercial blockbuster, the film is gearing up for Hindi release. Titled Return of The Dragon, the film will release on March 14.
Return of The Dragon also stars actors Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Myskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, KS Ravukumar, VJ Siddhu, Harshath, and others in important roles. The film is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment and has music by Leon James. Return of The Dragon revolves around the protagonist, who has 48 arrears in college and is an unemployed youth who takes help from his friends to live with his parents. However, after a certain incident pushes him to get a good job, he has to return to college to complete his backlogs.
Dragon OTT release: Where to stream Pradeep Ranganathan’s film?
After the theatrical run, Dragon is set to premiere on Netflix. An OTT release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers. With the successful run in theatres, one can expect a delay in the film’s premiere date.
Dragon has already crossed the 100-crore mark with the worldwide box office collection, and is set to become the highest grossing Tamil film so far in 2025, beating Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi. Dragon also had a Telugu release, titled Return of The Dragon. With cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy and Pradeep E. Ragav is handling the edits, the film is currently running in theatres.
