The Hemanth M Rao directed two-part film, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, will release on September 1 and October 20, respectively

When actor-filmmaker Rakshit Shetty and director Hemanth M Rao decided that their next film’s story would be told in two parts, they were clear that the gap between the instalments could not be too much. They wanted audiences to remain in the hangover of the first one while watching the second. A lot of thought went into planning the release. Initially, Rakshit was looking at a mere three week time frame between the two films, but later thought that seven would be perfect, which would also be in sync with the title – Sapta Sagaradaache Ello.
Then came the bigger dilemma. How do you place the film on the calendar on dates that will work out perfectly? Rakshit says that he tried multiple combinations before arriving at the eventual September 1 and October 20 dates for Side A and Side B, but once he did, he realized that they were not only auspicious occasions – Side A for Krishna Janmashtami and Side B for Dasara. More importantly, the producer in him reared his head and saw that it would mean long weekends for both films which allows audiences more time to come and watch it.
Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A, meanwhile, has been censored U/A with a run-time of 2 hours and 22 minutes. The film, distributed by KVN Productions, will release in the Kannada original version first, with dubbed versions to be set out in the market depending on demand for it. The makers are opening its box office journey with paid premieres in Bengaluru and Mysuru at major multiplex chains on August 31, with ticket rates in the range of Rs 300 – Rs 700 depending on the class of seat availed. Advance booking for the film’s official first day is yet to open.
Produced by Rakshit’s Paramvah Studios, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello has music by Charan Raj and cinematography by Advaitha Gurumurthy. The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Chaithra J Achar, Achyuth Kumar, Avinash and Sharath Lohithashwa, among others.
