Sikandar Kher has his hands full with multiple projects. He will next be seen in the web series Chidiya Udd, in which his character has been inspired by a real-life person.
A source from the series revealed that Sikandar plays a criminal from Mumbai's red-light district, Kamathipura, in the show. The source also revealed that it is an intense role.
The web series revolves around human trafficking. The source said, "Kamathipura is infamous for tough bouncers, who are known for being rough. Sikandar’s character is inspired by someone who lives there and has a criminal background. There has been a lot of discussion about the real person, such as his mannerisms, the way he talks, or the way he thinks." However, when asked who the real-life person is, the source said, "The team of the web series will not be naming him."
The year 2022 was a busy one for Sikandar, with the release of the Netflix film Monica, O My Darling, TVF Pitchers, and the shooting of the new season of Aarya, which also stars Sushmita Sen.
Sikandar, the son of veteran actress Kirron Kher, began his acting career in 2018 and has received critical acclaim for his performances in films such as Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Zoya Factor, and Mum Bhai.
Chidiya Udd is produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri, and directed by Marathi director Ravi Jadhav, who is known for films like Nude and Banjo. The show also stars Jackie Shroff, Madhur Mittal, Ravi Kothari, Gopal K Singh, and Dheeraj Dev. It is slated to release on MX Player soon.
