After the runaway success of ‘Citadel’ which starred Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, the makers decided to give it a desi spin with Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu playing the lead. It was tilted as ‘Citadel India’. Speaking about the US version, the first season of ‘Citadel’ ended on May 26 this year. It was also reported that the series had got renewed for a second season.

While on Citadel India, Sikandar Kher has now unveiled his look in the upcoming spy thriller series, ‘Citadel India’. The first look’s photograph features Sikandar Kher with his co-star Varun Dhawan. These two actors are presently shooting in Serbia for the highly anticipated international series. The said series have been created by the Russo brothers. The ace film maker duo Raj and DK are in charge of helming the said series, which happens to be a part of the Citadel universe.

Those who have seen the duo of Varun Dhawan and Sikandar Kher in action, just cannot simply stop raving about their on-screen dedication towards their respective roles, especially in the action scenes. Speaking of action, there were the recent reports which stated that, the duo of Varun Dhawan and Sikandar Kher underwent an extensive stunt and action training workshops undertaken by Varun Dhawan and Sikandar Kher for their roles in ‘Citadel’. The dedication and commitment shown by both actors in honing their skills underscore the immense level of authenticity and excitement that fans can expect from the series.

As for ‘Citadel India’, it stars Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Sikandar Kher. Speaking of Samantha, a few weeks back, she had spoken about her role in a media statement, wherein she said, “The Citadel universe, the interconnected storylines between the productions across the globe, and most importantly, the script of the Indian instalment really excited me. I am thrilled to be a part of this brilliant universe conceptualised by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO.”-
