There is no stopping this tornado called ‘Jawan’ at the box office. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has been consistently breaking one record after another. The latest feat that the film is about to achieve (and that too anytime from now) is that it will become Bollywood’s fastest film to cross Rs. 500 crores at the box office. Ever since the time the film had got released, the team’s members have been giving interviews to the media wherein they have given out some or the other interesting facts related to the film.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, the film’s director Atlee said that he had termed the film as ‘elephant pregnancy’! And the reason that he gave for terming the film so was because the film took so long in the making. He also spoke about his inspiration creating his hero’s entry in a grand manner in every second scene. He said that his father was a great fan of the late superstar MGR (M.G.Ramachandran), whose films he had started following, which had a different grammar as compared to the late superstar Sivaji Ganesan. He also revealed that, whenever he makes a film with any actor, he becomes their fan first... through the monitor!

He also revealed about the kind of support that he got from his Priya proved to be his inspiration to do the film and how he was totally focussed on making ‘Jawan’ with ‘THE’ superstar Shah Rukh Khan! He also revealed about the comfort zone that he was in by citing an example that, if Aryan would have directed Shah Rukh Khan, he was that comfortable working with the superstar.

In the same interview, Atlee also revealed that, after seeing the action scenes (esp. the one where Shah Rukh Khan gets engulfed in flames), the Hollywood stunt director Spiro Razatos enquired about the person who did the action. And when he got to know that it was Atlee, Spiro Razatos offered him to work in Hollywood, in case he was interested.
