REVEALED: The reason why Salman Khan doesn’t recommend anyone to the makers of Bigg Boss

With just a few minutes left for the grand premiere of the most awaited ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ show, which will be premiering on JioCinema, all the eyes are now trained on the mobiles and TV sets. Well, as and when the clock is ticking away, the heartbeats are only getting faster and louder. There are many reasons for the excitement to be building up. While on one hand, the show’s makers have promised to bring in lots of masala elements this year, on the other hand, this year will see the inimitable Salman Khan hosting the OTT format of ‘Bigg Boss’.

Speaking of Salman Khan, the ‘Dabangg’ actor stunned everyone with his grand entry at the media conference which was held to do the announcement of the show ‘Bigg Boss 2’. In an interesting ‘Question and Answer’ session which was held between Salman Khan and the media, the actor made an interesting revelation about why he doesn’t recommend anyone to the makers of the ‘Bigg Boss’ anymore.

As per a report in ETimes, it was reported as when the media had asked Salman Khan about him recommending anyone to the show’s makers, Salman Khan replied to the media stating, “Be it politicians, actors or from any other walk of life, I get calls from everyone saying that Bigg Boss is a great platform for their career and they would love to be a part of the show. But they don’t understand this decision is not in my hands but it is in Sheetal's, Manisha's and Endemol's and COLORS' hands”.

He also added, “They (the channel) have made this rule that they don’t take my recommendation. Once I had requested them to cast someone and they did not, so after that I stopped recommending. In fact, during one season I recommended someone and they themselves called that person and got him on board. One of the people who I knew but was not aware that he is going to be a part of the show was Nikitin. I met him on stage of Bigg Boss 6”.

As for Bigg Boss OTT 2, it will be premiering today on JioCinema at 9 pm.
