It has now been confirmed that the movie will be releasing on the popular OTT platform on December 26. Netflix has confirmed that Revolver Rita will also be streaming in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada apart from Tamil. The film did not garner much praise or attention following its theatrical release, however, it can be a good choice to watch during the Christmas holidays. The makers had earlier confirmed that Netflix had bought the digital rights of Revolver Rita ahead of its theatrical release.
Revolver Rita plot, cast and other details
Rita (played by Keerthy Suresh) resides in the charming town of Pondicherry with her mother and sisters. However, the family becomes involved in a local gang battle when a gangster who knocks on their door one day unintentionally dies at Rita's house following a confrontation and strange accident. The main focus of the movie is how Rita will escape safely with a few oddball individuals involved in this fight. Revolver Rita is a failed effort at a crime comedy movie, according to OTTplay's review, because neither of the components are adequately exploited in the narrative.
Radhika Sarathkumar, Super Subbarayan, Sunil, Redin Kingsley, John Vijay, Kalyan Master, Suresh Chakravarthy, Kathiravan, Sendrayan, and more actors play supporting roles in the movie. J K Chandru, who also wrote the screenplay, is the film's director. Revolver Rita's music and original score was composed by Sean Roldan.
