The makers of the upcoming season of ‘Roadies’ seem to be pressing the right buttons in their upcoming season of their adventure reality show. This time, the show has been themed as ‘Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand’. While on one hand, they have roped in the Gautam Gulati (the former winner of the realty show ‘Bigg Boss’), on the other hand, they have taken everyone by storm with the announcement of their latest gang leader. It is none other than Rhea Chakraborty!
Former VJ-turned-actress Rhea Chakraborty’s name was being bounced off in the controversial (late) Sushant Singh Rajput case. The situation was such that, everywhere she went, she was completely hounded by the media, cameras and was asked many questions. She had got trolled very badly on social media as well. All of this went on for a while, till the time she got a clean chit in the case.

This time round, Rhea Chakraborty took to social media and made the grand announcement about her comeback vehicle. In the post which she uploaded on social media is a video which has her climbing down from a rope. The actress, then, says (dusting her hands), “Aapko kya laga, mai wapas nahin aungi? Dar jaungi (What you thought (that) I won't come back? I will be scared)?” She paused to laugh and added, “Darne ki baari kisi aur ki hai. Milte hai auditions pe (It's time for someone else to get scared, see you at the auditions).”
No sooner did she post the announcement video, there were many who congratulated her on her new journey. Celebs including fashion designer Seema Sajdeh, Bollywood actor Aparshakti Khurrana were the first few to congratulate Rhea Chakraborty. Besides them, there were many netizens who came forward and encouraged Rhea Chakraborty. While there were positive and encouraging comments like ‘Who better than Rhea to host this show? She has truly shown us that courage is resistance to fear and not the absence of it’, at the same time, there were also a few users who had commented, ‘Not a deserving gang leader.’
