'Richard Anthony heroine?' - Rakshit Shetty & Srinidhi Shetty's repartee sparks interesting reactions

Social media found a sudden spring in its step when popular Kannada actors Rakshit Shetty and Srinidhi Shetty were caught in the middle of a fun little repartee. It was all rosy and quite unceremonious until this incredibly brief conversation came to the netizens' attention and soon after, a meme-fest was triggered, much to our amusement.

"What's cooking between the two?" seems to be the pressing question for now but Twitter users are having a merry time, regardless, with their funny quips and memes. 

It all began when the KGF 2 girl Srinidhi Shetty shared a couple of clicks via her Twitter account and wrote 'Haage Summane' ('Just like that') as the caption. Posing in a pretty pink kurta and idling at what seemed to be her home, Srinidhi looked every bit comfy and cute at the same time. This prompted many of her fans to leave endearing comments but things seemed quite chill and normal until the Sapta Sagaradaache Ello actor entered the chat.

"Okay Shettre, I understood," said Rakshit Shetty to the fellow Shettre, either referring to an inside joke or simply poking fun at his colleague. "Ahaha 😂, understood eh, Shettre? Don't tell anyone," said Srinidhi in response, casually quipping back. Though the conversation remained quite simple and uneventful the entire time, netizens grew curious about what the two chatting about and soon followed the funny responses.

"Something's cooking," said a user, suggesting that Srinidhi and Rakshit could be up to something cheeky. In the same vein, many wondered if the former could be the lead actress in Rakshit Shetty's much-awaited Richard Anthony. While neither of the two did allude to that in their few-second-long conversation, one wouldn't mind seeing them together in a film, after all!

Interestingly, Rakshit Shetty's Ulidavaru Kandanthe, the source film for Richard Anthony, completes 9 years of its release on the same day.

On the work front, Rakshit has wrapped up Sapta Sagaradaache Ello and is expected to get started on his much-awaited directorial, Richard Anthony at the earliest. Through the film, he joins forces with Hombale Films for the first time and fans are extremely excited to see what the spin-off has to offer. He plans on directing the mega two-part Punyakoti films after that.

Srinidhi Shetty, on the other hand, has been taking things slow and was last seen in the Tamil film Cobra, opposite Chiyaan Vikram. Speculations suggest that she will make her Telugu debut soon but one awaits a formal announcement.
