Adult Swim on Monday released the season 7 trailer of Rick and Morty, revealing the new voice talents who will be essaying the roles of the mad scientist and grandson. The trailer also revealed the premiere date of the new season.

Season 7 of Rick and Morty will premiere on Adult Swim on October 15 at 11 PM. If you want to re-binge the series before the new season becomes available, you can stream all the previous six seasons on Max.

Fans of the show are unlikely to be disappointed with the new voice cast. And the showrunners have managed to rope in talents who sound similar to Justin Roiland, who was also the co-creator of the show.

For the last two years, fans have been wondering who would take the place of Justin Roiland. It seemed it was impossible to find a replacement that would satisfy the hard-core fans of the adult animated series.

Adult Swim continues to keep the names of the actors who have taken Justin Roiland's place a secret.

Justin Roiland was fired from the show

Justin Roiland was removed from the show after he was accused of domestic violence in 2020. Besides being the co-creator of the show, he was also the voice of the grandfather-grandson duo.

However, breaking away from their previous practice, the showrunners seemed to have hired two new voice artists to play the lead roles, instead of one actor playing both roles. And it's evident from the trailer. In the meantime, Adult Swim has refrained from naming the names of voice actors playing Rick and Morty. And the showrunners intended to keep it a secret till the premiere of the new season.
