Love blooms at Times Square. Riddhi Sen and Surangana Bandyopadhyay – two young lovebirds from the Bengali film industry – had a romantic moment in New York. They kissed each other in Times Square. Srijit Mukherji hailed their love on social media. Srijit shared the photo with a line from Kabir Suman's song and congratulated the couple.
Riddhi and Surangala went to the USA to attend the 44th North American Bengali Conference in Chicago. The event went on from July 4 to July 6. Koushik and Reshmi Sen were also there. Riddhi was awarded for his acting in the play Hamlet. He thanked the jury of NABC and IBEA.
Riddhi and Surangana went to Times Square. They were mesmerized by the skyscrapers, metal frameworks, ad hoardings, and gorgeous lighting. Riddhi found New York similar to Kolkata. Perhaps why they wanted to celebrate love and friendship standing in the heart of the city.
Almost the entire Tollywood brigade, including Koushik Ganguly, Srijit Mukherji, Arindam Sil, Mamata Shankar, Anirban Bhattacharya, Isha Saha, Arjun Chakraborty, and Rituparna Sengupta, were seen attending the NABC. There was a fire scare on Saturday morning in the hotel where the stars boarded. The hotel's workers and security staff promptly became active and asked all the guests to go outside. The stars had to spend almost an hour outside. Then the situation got back under control and the stars were permitted to go inside.
