All who love Mirzapur are mourning due to an immense loss today. The much-loved ‘Lalit’ from the Amazon Prime series original web series is no more. Divyenndu Sharma, Ali Fazal and Shweta Tripathi, among others have shared their grief for losing their Lalit.
Divyenndu was among the first few people to share the message. He posted an image with Brahma and wrote, “Our Lalit is no more.” The actor requested everyone to pray for him.

For the unversed, Divyenndu’s Munna shared a close bond with Brahma’s Lalit on the show. It is out of that affection that Munna called Lalit ‘Lodu Lalit’. He shared a drink with Lalit to celebrate their bond. The scene has become very iconic in the world of Mirzapur.
Ali Fazal shared two stills from the show featuring Brahma as Lalit. The first is the popular still which became the ‘Lodu Lalit’ meme. The second still is Lalit being his naive self on the show.

Shweta Tripathi, who played the role of Gajgamini Gupta in the show, also remembered the late actor. “Very lucky to have known and worked with you,” she shared.
Excel Entertainment, who backed the show, also dedicated a post to Brahmaswaroop Mishra. They offered their condolences to his family. Meanwhile, filmmaker Gurmmeet Singh also shared a heartfelt post stating that everyone will miss him.
Brahma, aged 36, died under mysterious circumstances. The details about his demise are yet to be confirmed. His brother is arriving in Mumbai from Bhopal to perform the actor’s last rites soon.
