Dabba Cartel trailer has just launched but Ritesh Sidhwani is already gearing up for the second season. The producer has announced that the second season would be out and it would be the next big story from Excel Entertainment-Netflix. Not expecting Ritesh to make the announcement, Farhan Akhtar had an amusing reaction after hearing about the second season. Here's everything that happened at the recently held Dabba Cartel trailer launch...
Ritesh Sidhwani calls the title intriguing, further mentioning that it became easier thanks to the Netflix collab. During his thank you speech, he ended up spilling the beans. "The next big story I'm going to put them on is going to be season 2," he said while looking at his business partner Farhan Akhtar, and his wife Shibani Dandekar.

On hearing Ritesh confirm so, Shibani's face lit up as she almost screamed and laughed at the revelation. "We should move to that," Ritesh continued saying, further asking Farhan if he was ready. Too stunned to speak, Farhan started thinking hard. He tried to process what just happened by rolling his eyes up and down, mouth sealed shut.

Farhan was then asked what is the best part about Dabba Cartel but he refused to answer that, claiming that the women would be the ones who could answer that better since he doesn't want his answer to come across as mansplaining. Before leaving the stage open though, Farhan stressed the importance of having a female voice present. He said that is important to both him and Ritesh at their production house. "With a story as exciting as Dabba Cartel is, it is was really impossible to say no," he said, adding that Shibani took him through what the show was about. He expressed pride in the show, given it has the best talent attached.
