Rituparna Sengupta sets the internet on fire with her bikini pic

Though she has reduced her volume of work, Rituparna Sengupta never let a headline opportunity go. At 51, she is graceful and gorgeous and leaves no stone unturned to mesmerise her fans while regularly flying to and from Singapore – where her family lives. 

On Sunday, Rituparna shared her bikini picture on social media with the caption, “Beat the heat.” She is seen in a pink swimsuit. She looks ethereal with her hair down and splashes of water. She added the hashtags: swimming scenes and throwback.

One fan commented, “You have something. Hence I still like to look at you.” A second one wrote, “The hottest Bengali actress to date. Do you agree?” Another one wrote, “Instead of reducing the heat, you increased it.”

Rituparna's film Maayakumari was released on January 13. In the film directed by Arindam Sil which tells the story of the film world, Rituparna paired with Abir Chatterjee. Before that, Rituparna and ProsenjitChatterjee did a cameo in the film Prosenjit Weds Rituparna.

She will soon work with Prosenjit, but this time not a cameo. This will be their 50th film together. The film will be directed by Koushik Ganguly. What is the story? Koushik said, “A complex relation dynamics will be shown. It will not be the story of a happy couple. People want to see complexities, they want different layers of a relationship. I am working on the script now. If everything goes well, I will start shooting in March.”
