Ritwick Chakraborty-Ishaa Saha’s Buro Sadhu comes to Hoichoi two weeks after Gora’s release

After seeing the success Ritwick Chakraborty and Ishaa Saha’s Gora series is, Hoichoi decided to release their 2019 film Buro Sadhu also on their OTT platform. That’s right, two weeks after the release of Gora, Buro Sadhu will now be available on Hoichoi. The film also starred Chiranjeet Chakraborty in the lead role.

Hoichoi made the big announcement on their social media channels recently. Sharing the poster of the film, they revealed that the movie will be available from January 21.

Buro Sadhu follows the journey of Abir. It talks about his life from boyhood to manhood. Of course, there is a huge female influence in his life which comes in the form of Sweta (Ishaa).

The film focuses on Abir’s rags-to-riches journey in the midst of his disturbed and toxic family life. The movie released in theatres on November 1, 2019 and was mainly lauded for its unique storyline.

Ritwick and Ishaa had collaborated for the Hoichoi web series Gora more recently. While the two are not yet paired up romantically, they each bring out a strong personality in the show, which in turn adds up to the storyline.

The first season of the series released on the OTT platform with a cliff-hanger which hints at a new season. It gave a fresh perspective to detectives in the form of Gora (Ritwick). The series, which was already awaited, was also received well for the entertaining content.

Interestingly, Buro Sadhu paved a way for both Ritwick as well as Ishaa. While he got Borunbabur Bondhu, she worked in Detective and Golondaaj, all of which have been acclaimed by either the critics or audiences or both.

Directed by VIK, Buro Sadhu also stars Mishmee Das as Abir’s first girlfriend. The film also sees Dolon Roy and Debesh Chattopadhyay in pivotal roles.
