RJ Balaji's next titled Singapore Saloon, first look launched by Lokesh Kanagaraj

Veetla Vishesham actor RJ Balaji is known for his quirky promotions. This time around, too, the actor went out of the box and roped in Thalapathy67 director Lokesh Kanagaraj to launch the title and first-look poster of his next, Singapore Saloon. It came as a pleasant surprise for fans of Lokesh Kanagaraj when he announced that he was part of the Tamil commentary panel of the India vs England semifinal match in the T20 World Cup 2022 being held in Australia.

Before the match began, an excited Lokesh Kanagaraj stated that he was going to do cricket commentary for the first time and told his fans that he along with popular actor RJ Balaji will be discussing cricket along with former cricketer Badrinath. He launched the title and first-look poster during the match. Lokesh is known as an avid cricket player and Balaji, too, has been associated with the game as a commentator for a long time. Sharing a picture from the commentary box with Lokesh, Balaji wrote, "I love you @Dir_Lokesh #SingaporeSaloon (sic)."

The first-look poster has RJ Balaji looking like a stylish hair stylist. He is seen dressed in formals along with an apron and is seen with a scissor in hand. The film will be directed by Gokul and bankrolled by Vels Film International and is touted to hit screens in summer next year. Selva RK has been roped in as the editor of the film. He expressed his excitement on his social media page, "Happy to be a part of #SingaporeSaloon, this film will motivate the young entrepreneurs. Thank you @RJ_Balaji for your continuous support & always very happy to be associated with you. Thank you @DirectorGokul sir & @VelsFilmIntl In Theaters summer 2023 (sic)."

In the meantime, wishes have been pouring in for the actor from all quarters. Former Bigg Boss contestant Raju Jeyamohan wrote, "Scissors are two knifes fell in love! Wishing all good things to happen for #SingaporeSaloon @VelsFilmIntl @RJ_Balaji #DirGokul (sic)."Gautham Karthik called the look kickass and wrote on his social media handle, "What a Kickass look! All the best bro! (sic)." The rest of the details about the film are yet to be announced.
