The 18th season of Roadies, titled as MTV Roadies Journey in South Africa, aired this weekend. The programme has only been running for a few days, and it already has a lot of drama especially after Baseer Ali and Kevin Almasifar’ big disagreement.
Kevin was accused of cheating and provoking Baseer in order to get an advantage in the game. Kevin was not pleased about this. Moose Jattana, who has previously participated in Karan Johar-hosted Bigg Boss OTT, tried to settle things down while the two were bickering.
Kevin, on the other hand, was having none of it. He stated that he will keep his distance from Baseer now that he is aware of his intentions. Baseer and Kevin are well-known for their friendship. Given the current scenario, it will be fascinating to see if they are able to reach an agreement.
Ex-participants will team up with new contestants to complete the tasks, according to the show's new concept. Two teams have been created for this purpose: Team Loyalty and Team Brown Munde.
Sonu Sood is the new host of the reality show after he took over from Rannvijay Singha. Prince Narula, Nikhil Chinappa, Neha Dhupia, and Raftar, who were all “gang leaders” are no longer part of the show as well
The current season takes place in South Africa and features 20 contestants, ten from the past installments and ten new faces.
Roadies 18 premiered on April 8 and can be watched on MTV. It is available for streaming on Voot.
