Robinhood on OTT: Here's when the Nithiin film will stream in Hindi and Tamil

Robinhood is Nithiin's new film that was in the making for the last two years and finally hit the screens on March 28, 2025. The film had popular actress Sreeleela of Pelli SandaD fame as the female lead, and Aussie cricketer David Warner was seen in a cameo. 

Though the film was delayed, there was decent hype for the project, directed by Venky Kudumula of Chalo fame. But all this did not help at the box office, as Robinhood failed commercially. The film features a lot of comedy, and it looks like it has now caught on with the OTT audience. 

Robinhood is currently streaming on Zee5 and has taken off to a great start. The action comedy is nearing 100 million streaming minutes already, and the latest we hear is that Robinhood will be available in Hindi and Tamil from May 22, 2025. This expansion will help the film reach a wider audience in the coming days.

Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Pushpa, bankrolled the film on a massive scale and sold the rights to Zee5 for a hefty amount. Though the film flopped in theaters, the makers managed to stay in the safe zone financially. 

The word of mouth was so poor that many skipped watching the film in cinemas. Now that the holiday season is on, a large section of the family audience is streaming the film online. If you haven't watched Robinhood, stream it now on OTTplay Premium.

Following the debacle of Robinhood, Nithiin has moved on to his new film Thammudu, whose teaser will be out soon.
