Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh's hit biographical series on SonyLIV is back with another season. Directed by Abhay Pannu, Rocket Boys season 2 also has Regina Cassandra and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in key roles. The official teaser of the upcoming season was released a few weeks ago and elated fans' anticipation all over the country.

After successfully stepping into Indian Space Program the pioneers Dr. Homi J Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai are set to explore the world of nuclear power to do a secret and successful nuclear test in India to make the country powerful like other developed nations in the world.

In the official teaser video of Rocket Boys season 2, Sarbh and Dr Bhabha can be seen convincing the then and only female prime minister of India to give them permission to go ahead with the nuclear test, while he can also be seen talking about the necessity of Nuclear power in India. 

Singh, who plays Dr Sarabhai, took to social media to share the recent teaser video. The talented actor dropped the montage on his official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "Amidst global conflict and enemies charging our borders, India becoming a nuclear nation was the only deterrent to imminent threats of war. Witness the incredible journey of India’s greatest scientists shaping a new era where no one dared to challenge their country's sovereignty. #RocketBoys2 - Streaming this march only on Sony LIV #RocketBoys2OnSonyLIV @sonylivindia (sic)."

The story of this biographical drama series is by Abhay Koranne, while the director Abhay Pannu has done the screenplay by himself and dialogues along with Kausar Munir.

The SonyLIV show is backed by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under the banners of Roy Kapur Films and Emmay Entertainment.

Rocket Boys season 2, which also has Saba Azad, Rajit Kapur, T.M. Karthik, Namit Das, Arjun Radhakrishnan, K.C. Shankar and Neha Chauhan as supporting characters, is set to release on SonyLIV on March 16.
