Rocket Boys season 2 teaser: Jim Sarbh as Dr Homi J. Bhabha talks about the necessity of Nuclear power in India

Jim Sarbh is back with Rocket Boys season 2. The upcoming season of the superhit drama series is set to explore the Pokhran nuclear test. The makers have released the much-awaited teaser video that sees Dr Homi J. Bhabha talking about the necessity of bombs in India.

The teaser video begins with Sarbh as Dr Homi J. Bhabha having an important conversation with a group of scientists and a few politicians. "The bomb is a necessity. Americans be damned." All the people except the Indian nuclear physicist get shocked as well as scared to take such a huge step, while the latter informs them that she has a plan.

The teaser also showcases how the CIA is keeping an eye on the India and Indian scientists. 

Ishwak Singh, who plays the role of Dr Vikram Sarabhai, shared the latest teaser video on his official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "Amidst global conflict and enemies charging our borders, India becoming a nuclear nation was the only deterrent to imminent threats of war. Witness the incredible journey of India’s greatest scientists shaping a new era where no one dared to challenge their country's sovereignty. #RocketBoys2 - Streaming this march only on Sony LIV #RocketBoys2OnSonyLIV @sonylivindia (sic)."

Based on the real-life story of two extraordinary men Dr Homi J. Bhabha and Dr Vikram Sarabhai, the biographical drama series stars Jim Sarbh, Ishwak Singh, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Regina Cassandra, Rajit Kapur, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Namit Das, Saba Azad, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Neha Chauhan, Rajeev Kachroo and Charu Shankar among others.
