The trailer of the upcoming docu. film Gandhada Gudi has endeared everyone. The sight of Puneeth Rajkumar bearing his quintessential smile and rummaging through the vast natural heritage of Karnataka is likely to be etched forever on the minds of the fans but above all, the film also represents the lengths to which the late actor went to realize his creative aspirations. With director and fellow wilderness enthusiast J.S. Amoghavarsha by his side, the duo embarks on an epic journey to capture the rich legacy of the land of Karnataka.

And quite naturally, comments and praise began to pour in soon after the release of the trailer with many celebrities and noted personalities remembering the Powerstar for the sincerity and dedication he embodied. For actor Yash, Puneeth Rajkumar isn't just a dear friend but also an immortal soul and Gandhada Gudi is a gift and an opportunity, so to speak, that the Appu has offered to the people of Karnataka.

Quoting Bruce Lee, the K.G.F: Chapter 2 actor wrote in his tweet: "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering - Bruce Lee. Quite indeed, Yash's statement suggests the high regard he still has for Puneeth Rajkumar. Despite the two being fierce competitors and the resulting 'rivalry' between their respective fan associations, the two actors remained on the best of terms till the end and always looked out for one another. Yash was one of the first ones to reach the hospital on the fateful day of Puneeth's passing (October 29, 2021) and was visibly distraught by the tragedy.

Coming to Gandhada Gudi, aside from Yash, several other celebrities and actors have expressed the awe they were filled with after watching the film. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, too took to social media to pay a tribute to Puneeth Rajkumar and also wish the team of Gandhada Gudi for the endeavour.
