Rocking Star Yash to announce his #Yash19 collaboration in mid-March?

#Yash19 is perhaps the film that is most anticipated, not just in Sandalwood circles, but across the country – everyone wants to know just what Yash will do next after the stupendous success of the KGF franchise that he dedicated many years of his life to. It’s been more than 10 months since KGF: Chapter 2 came out and the Rocking Star has been in no hurry to kickstart his next, wary of making hasty decisions and regretting it later. According to the star’s inner circle, Yash is clear that he does want to make mistakes immediately after tasting mega success. As someone who has seen his fair share of downs in his career before achieving the mega-stardom he enjoys today, Yash knows that any misstep can prove costly.

For the longest time, it was thought that Yash was set to work with director Narthan of Mufti fame. It was believed that fine-tuning and perfecting the script for their collaboration was what was causing the delay in announcement. But now that Narthan has been announced as the director of Shivarajkumar’s next home production, Bhairathi Ranagal, it has become clear that the door’s have closed on #Yash19 for the filmmaker. The names of filmmaker’s from Tamil cinema are among the frontrunners to helm Yash’s next, but the actor has not given any indication as to who he is leaning toward. In fact, when OTTplay reached out to someone from his coterie, we were told that Yash has limited his public appearances and is still busy meeting potential candidates to direct his next. “He is looking at making an announcement latest by the second week of March,” says the source.

The film will be backed by KVN Productions, but there are rumours that Yash may also look at launching a home banner and doing it as a joint venture.
