For Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt fans, we have a piece of news for you! Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has officially been granted a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. This means that the movie can officially be watched theatrically by people across the country and parental guidance is required for viewers under the age of 12.
Popular film critic Taran Adarsh confirmed the development today. He even revealed the official runtime of the movie. The upcoming Karan Johar directorial is slated for a duration of 2 hours and 48 minutes or roughly three hours.

News portal, ABP news, also stated that censor board has given a few cuts and suggested minor adjustments in the film.
The news portal said, “The cussword 'b*******d' which has been used in multiple scenes has been replaced by 'behen di'. 'Bra' has been changed to 'item'. The popular rum brand Old Monk has been replaced by 'Bold Monk.' Three dialogues were completely chopped off from the film, including a reference to Lok Sabha and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee each.”
The news report also mentions that an alteration has also been made to a scene mentioning the legendary poet, Rabindranath Tagore – the glimpse of which grabbed everyone's attention in the trailer.
Further, the report adds that “the movie also features a scene in the lingerie shop. The Censor Board reportedly termed a dialogue in the scene as ‘degrading women’ and asked for it to be removed.”
