Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: Karan Johar shares Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s first look test picture and it’s stunning

After a lengthy absence of seven years, Karan Johar's return to filmmaking is marked by Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. His previous directorial film was Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which debuted in theatres in 2016. 

The much awaited romantic drama Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, is getting ready for a major theatrical release shortly. The movie, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the major roles looks really promising, and the recently released love song 'Tum kya mile' became an instant hit. The film's social media promotions have already begun, and director KJo and his team have been releasing unseen pictures with fascinating facts.

Now, the filmmaker released a brand new picture on his Instagram account revealing Ranveer and Alia's first look test. He captioned the photo: "Our very first look test of the film! When we were locking looks for ROCKY and RANI." Alia looks stunning in the photo wearing a sleeveless blouse with a beige and red chiffon saree. Ranveer, on the other hand, appears sharp in a red shirt with a print.

The romantic comedy family drama movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy.

The movie, which is backed by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, also features Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra. On July 28, it is slated for release.
