All praise for music

Apart from the mind-blowing story, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been lauded for its music. Both Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya contributed to the film's score. The music composer has earlier called the album an homage to the music of the Hindi films of the 1960s and 1970s.

Making way for international recognition

Interestingly, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is set to be screened at the Busan International Film Festival about two months after its theatrical release. The film has been selected for the Open Cinema section.

The film marks KJo's second outing with Jaya Bachchan and Alia Bhatt after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Student of the Year, respectively. While the filmmaker has directed Ranveer for the first time, it also marks the actor's second film with Alia Bhatt after Gully Boy.
