Rohaan Bhattacharjee to play footballer Dipendu Biswas

The story of Kolkata’s football legacy will be told on the big screen. Director Sri Pritam will make a biopic of footballer Dipendu Biswas, who is right now the technical director of Mohammedan Sporting Club. Dipendu has played with all three big clubs – East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting – in the past. The film’s name is Dipu. Rohaan Bhattacharjee will play the character of Dipendu in this film. 

Rohaan shared the poster of this film on social media. He wrote, “Dipu--hope never dies. Now the film will come, friends please be with us.” Rohaan is right now anchoring the program Dance Dance Junior season three on Star Jalsha. In the middle of his reality show schedule, he made this announcement of his new project. 

As per sources, Rohaan has started preparing himself for the film. He is trying to make a body like footballers and had a conversation with Dipendu as well. He is very happy with the role. 

Rohaan, who has worked in multiple media, has a career of more than a decade. He has done a number of serials, web series, and reality shows. Now the audience will see him on the big screen. However, Rohaan has told his fans that he is also keen on returning to the small screen. The audience will see him again if he gets a suitable character.
