Rohit Saraf has developed a solid fan following over the years and a strong foundation in show business, earning him the title of "National Crush". However, he suddenly feels that he is being placed in a category and is attempting to escape it. The actor is trying to play a variety of parts, including the one in his next movie, Vikram Vedha.

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Rohit clarified that he understands the reasoning behind it. He said, "I do feel like I am being stereotyped or pigeonholed right now."

He continues, "I feel like it is justified. The producers, the directors, and the filmmakers don’t see me as somebody who can play a heartland part. It is also because of the way I look, the way I carry myself, the way I speak, and the kinds of parts I’ve done before. The parts have been very urban. While the characters may be different, they all come under one umbrella, which is urban."

Rohit continued by stating that because people have seen him in urban roles, it is only natural for them to continue to see him in such roles if he continues to provide them with that content. He said, "It will be difficult for them to think outside of that. Having said that, I hope that I can change that now with Vikram Vedha."

The actor continued by saying that it is a unique endeavour that she has never undertaken before. Additionally, he mentioned that there is language in the film, and he expressed his hope that he did a worthwhile job. He is quite eager to see how the spectators, the filmmakers, and the producers will react.

Rohit acknowledges that he is taking a risk by attempting to have more ambitious goals because every project he chooses to work on is genuinely teaching him something. That's the main reason he first made the decision to take part in such ventures.

Rohit debuted in Bollywood in a supporting role in the 2016 film Dear Zindagi. Since then, he has been in a number of movies, including Hichki, The Sky Is Pink, and web series, including Ludo, Mismatched, and Feels Like Ishq. He will next be seen in the Pushkar-Gayathri film Vikram Vedha, which also stars Radhika Apte, Saif Ali Khan, and Hrithik Roshan. The movie is slated for a September 30 global cinema release.
