Rohit Shetty-Sidharth Malhotra’s Indian Police Force to bring Diwali dhamaka on Amazon Prime Video?

Rohit Shetty is a name now synonymous with Diwali dhamaka. His films and now even web show is filled with action that is no less than a bang and now it appears that he might just have booked another Diwali for his next big release. Rohit might release his web series Indian Police Force, starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, during Diwali.

A source told Pinkvilla that Indian Police Force will be Amazon Prime Video’s big Diwali attraction. “Over the years, Rohit Shetty has treated his audience with films during the Diwali weekend and he will continue with the tradition this year too with Indian Police Force,” the industry insider was quoted saying.

Rohit makes his digital debut with Indian Police Force. Despite the trend on OTT, the filmmaker was very clear that he did not want to go below-the-belt with his content.

The series is currently at the editing stage. Rohit and his team are confident that the project will leave a mark with the viewers.

Indian Police Force is about a man on a mission. Based in Delhi against the backdrop of crimes, this man, played by Sidharth, leads the mission.

The series is an extension of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe films. In case Sidharth gets a good response for the series, he too might get a film of his own.

The cop universe includes Ajay Devgn’s Singham, Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. While they have made cameo appearances in each films, there’s still no update on that when it comes to Indian Police Force.

Apart from Indian Police Force, Rohit has been working on the third part of Singham. Titled Singham Again, it is currently in the pre-production stage. The film is likely to see the trio of Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi back together.
