Golmaal 5 announced in Son of Sardaar 2 climax?

Ajay Devgn starrer Son of Sardaar 2 has a special announcement, which will delight fans. Director Rohit Shetty has a cameo in the film and the announcement comes towards the climax. After the interaction between the director and Ajay, the Singham star asks him what he was doing, to which Shetty replied, “Golmaal 5 ki taiyaari kar raha ho." This confirms that fans can expect Golmaal 5 soon.

Earlier, Pinkvilla reported that Rohit Shetty is all set to reunite with Ajay Devgn for Golmaal 5. The report also mentioned that the film will go on floors by February/March 2026 and will hit the big screen in the first half of 2027.

The source also said that Rohit Shetty, who is currently shooting for the Rakesh Maria biopic with John Abraham in Mumbai and will complete it by September 2025, is set to wrap up editing for a release later this year, early 2026. "Right after completing work on the Rakesh Maria Biopic, Rohit moves on to the prep of Golmaal 5, and take it on floors by February/March 2026," it added.

Golmaal 5 will mark the reunion of Ajay Devgn with the entire gang of Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever, among others.

Meanwhile, Son of Sardaar 2 revolves around Jassi, played by Ajay Devgn, who travels to Scotland to reconcile with his wife and gets entangled in a mob conflict and a chaotic Sikh wedding. The storyline sees Jassi confronting cultural clashes and rescuing hostages while trying to save his marriage. This film explores themes of cultural misunderstandings, family dynamics, and the clash between tradition and modernity.

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra. The film will be released on Netflix after its theatrical run.
