Rohit Shetty's next Golmaal to begin sooner than you think | Johny Lever reveals exciting details

Johny Lever is one actor whose acting never feels boring. He is one of the most versatile actors who is now gearing up for the release of Housefull 5. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film will hit theaters on June 6. Ahead of it, Lever shared some details about the upcoming franchise of Rohit Shetty's Golmaal. 

Update on Rohit Shetty's next Golmaal

In an interview with Times Now, Johny Lever shared that the upcoming franchise of Rohit Shetty's Golmaal is set to start soon. He revealed that it will begin in November 2025, and fans can expect yet another comedy entertainer by next year. 

Speaking about the Golmaal franchise, it revolves around the chaotic lives of a group of friends who find themselves in various comical situations. The main story focuses on a group of friends, including Gopal (Ajay Devgn), Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), Madhav (Arshad Warsi), and Laxman (Sharman Joshi). They often get caught up in misunderstandings and humorous mishaps. Each film in the series presents a new set of challenges and humorous adventures for the characters, often involving elements of family, love, and social satire.

The first film, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited released in 2006. It was followed by 3 popular sequels: Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, and Golmaal Again.

Johny Lever on Housefull 5

The trailer for Housefull 5 was released recently, and it created significant buzz on social media. Speaking about Sajid Nadiadwala's film, Lever said that the film is very well made, it is shot entirely on a single cruise, and the audience will have a lot of fun.

"We have made a film that will be seen at least 2-3 times and everyone has worked very hard so that we can make the fans laugh, a lot," he said. 

Nana Patekar is also going to be seen in Housefull 5. Speaking about him, Johny said that Nana Patekar is extraordinary and one must have not seen him like this before. "That man alone will drive everyone crazy... I salute him, what he has done with this character, no one else can do it," Lever shared.
