The Head of the Table returned to WWE to help none other than Cody Rhodes retain his Undisputed WWE Championship. This has created even more drama because while the fans were sure about the return of Reigns, no one guessed that he would come back to help Rhodes over his former group, The Bloodline.
For the unversed, Roman Reigns led The Bloodline when he lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL earlier this year. Reigns was quick to land a super punch and spear on Solo Sikoa. The entire scene excited the fans and also got a reply from Rhodes' wife, Brandi, who on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "He's not invited to Thanksgiving. Not yet. There's an open seat but...too early to fill it right now.”
About Roman Reigns' Absence
Roman Reigns was missing from all WWE programming after he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes on the second night of WrestleMania XL in April this year. It was later that Triple H teased a new direction for Reigns. He said, "It's not completing the story. It's just getting to the end of this chapter because he's gonna go on a whole new story now that is going to blow people's minds. I know he's going to take it to a whole other level. I can't tell you how much respect I have for Roman Reigns."
