Ron’s Gone Wrong will soon join the long list of Hollywood movies that will be released in India, as the pandemic-mandated restrictions on cinemas are eased.
The makers of the animated comedy-adventure announced that the movie will be released in Indian theatres on October 29.
The voice cast is headlined by Zach Galifianakis and Jack Dylan Grazer.
Other cast members include Olivia Colman, Ed Helms, Justice Smith, Rob Delaney, Kylie Cantrall, Ricardo Hurtado, Marcus Scribner and Thomas Barbusca.
Liam Payne, member of the former boy band One Direction, will also be a part of the movie. His new single Sunshine will feature in the soundtrack. Henry Jackman has composed the score for the movie.
Jean-Philippe Vine, Sarah Smith and Octavio E. Rodriguez have co-directed Ron’s Gone Wrong.
The 20th Century Studios and Locksmith Animation’s film is described as a “"touching and hilarious look" at the friendship between a young boy and his faulty robot.
Ron’s Gone Wrong tells the tale of the friendship between Barney (Galifianakis), a socially awkward high schooler and his new B-bot, Ron. The B-bot starts malfunctioning right out of the box, but Barney does not turn him in for replacement after the robot saves him from schoolyard bullies.
