Where to watch Ronth on OTT
The 2025 Malayalam film Ronth released in theatres on June 13. Over a month after its theatrical release, the film will be available for streaming on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium from Tuesday. Non-Malayalam speakers will also have the option to stream the film in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada with English subtitles.
What’s Ronth plot?
Ronth stars Roshan Mathew as rookie cop Dinnathan who joins the sub-inspector Dileesh Pothan on a night patrolling and the various situations they have to handle while on duty. The trailer and teaser showed that the cops, with different personalities, often sparring with one another. The cops are also battling their own personal trauma as they try to focus on their duty.
The film is helmed and penned by noted writer-filmmaker Shahi Kabir, who is known for scripting films such as Joju George’s Joseph and Kunchacko Boban’s latest thriller Officer on Duty. The compelling cop drama opened to positive reviews upon its theatrical release and is expected to reach out to a larger audience upon its digital debut.
